Kevin Beacham has been called a “Hip Hop Historian,” “Hip Hop Nerd,” “The guy who needs to write a book,” etc. He merely sees himself as a Hardcore Hip Hop Fan for the past 30 years who just can’t get enough. Initially expanding beyond listener to participant as an MC in early 1980, the next 30 years took him on journey as B-boy/Popper, Producer, Artist Manager, Indie Promoter, DJ, Radio Show Host, Freelance Writer, Lecturer, Teacher, Scribble Jam Organizer/Host and a few other things in-between. He’s spent the last 7 years working as Product Manager for Rhymesayers Entertainment. He's now Fifth Element's Social Media Manager. In this position, he’s in charge of keeping the blog fresh with content, increasing the store's involvement in local and national events, and continuing to feed his hunger for Hip Hop knowledge and experiences.
