Danny Schwartzman is the owner of Common Roots Cafe, a Minneapolis restaurant and caterer that serves good food made from scratch — using high quality, local, organic, and fair-trade ingredients (making up 86% of all cafe purchases since opening in 2007).   Prior to opening Common Roots, Danny worked as a community organizer in the Twin Cities.  Danny graduated from Macalester College with a BA in Political Science, and originally hails from Chevy Chase, Maryland.
